No, no work. it is for a tourist visa. As a recipient of the 2025 Diana jones Emerging Designer award, he won a trip to Gen Con. Due to it taking 10 months to get a visa appointment in Uganda, he couldn’t attend last year. Hoping he is allowed to come this year.

In brighter news, Ashraf has his visa interview on Tuesday. I know that, being from Uganda, the deck is stacked against him right now, but keep him in your thoughts ehh? He earned this Gen Con trip and he really looks forward to meeting the DCC community.

It has been a rough (almost) two weeks since saying goodbye to Vance. I'm getting better at dealing with people again but the latest episode of NCIS really didn't help (IYKYK). We keep moving forward, as we must. Still, his urn should arrive soon, and then it all tears open afresh.

So, seeing this today is pretty amazing since I was just reading that they believe that they may have found d’Artagnan's final resting place. Hell, I learned that he was a real person - just fictionalized by Dumas.

Since early Nov, we've struggled with Vance's health. From battling a stubborn sinus infection, to discovering that there was a viral infection, but also a cancerous tumor in his sinuses, it has eaten my every waking hour - vet visits, medications, feedings...

Now, our dear little Vance is gone.

Vance’s race is run, we say goodbye tomorrow. I cannot imagine this house without him…it will be so empty.

Thanks. It has really been eating up all of my bandwidth of late, giving him chemo meds, anti-nausea meds, decongestants, steroids, tracking his weight, trying to get his caloric intake up by pureeing chicken livers, consulting the vet, doing online research.

I'm exhausted, but we do what we must.

Sadly, we already know that isn't going to be the case. Cats simply do not "beat" cancer. Our best case scenario is 12-18 good months, worst case is 1-3 not-great months. Today it is feeling like the latter, but I'm really hoping we are wrong. We will give him every chance until he tells us he' done

Admittedly, I generally don't look at them, I just eat them. Fast food has changed so much. Hell, when I worked at Taco Bell we used 100% ground beef and a spice blend, now they have prebagged, soupy "meat" that is mostly fillers.

You really want to get Sickle & Torch. I know, the idea of extending 0-level play sounds crazy but, in this case? It really works! Plus, there area great rules for setting up encounters and other great ideas. You cannot afford to miss out.
