no offense to the hungarian people but i’m sorry, the idea that hungary is some last bastion of “western civilization” is absurd. can’t overstate how much this post-liberal, national conservative nonsense makes you sound like a putz

I mean, I figured that listening to the best of Raffi would be relaxing for him, but that was a bit much.

CNN put together a montage of the regime's incoherent talking points about Trump's war on Iran

On Sunday evening, CNN published a report pouring cold water on a claim anonymously peddled by the Trump administration that had ricocheted across MAGA Media. The story revealed that, in closed-door briefings with congressional staff, Pentagon officials acknowledged that Iran was not planning to launch an unprovoked strike on U.S. forces in the Middle East.

The reporting must have made for uncomfortable reading for CNN’s resident MAGA pundit, Scott Jennings. Earlier in the weekend, Jennings blasted the claim out to his nearly one million followers on X, asserting that senior Trump administration officials had told him “that credible intelligence indicated Iran planned preemptive missile strikes against US military targets in the region, and against civilian targets as well.” In Jennings’ own telling, “Failure to act would’ve resulted in mass US casualties.” His post was shared more than 13,000 times and racked up over five million views, according to the platform’s analytics.

This moment in history provides us with incontrovertible evidence that all the conservatives who claim to be extremely devoted to freedom of speech and the right to bear arms, and opposed to the encroachment of tyranny, are completely and totally full of shit.

It's all white supremacy and greed.

Where do I go to get my apology from all the folks on both sides and center of the political spectrum who insisted Trump wasn't a warmonger or imperialist and would be different to the Democrats and Republicans and (especially) neocons who came before him?

Screenshot of an archived tweet from Donald J. Trump dated October 9, 2012. The tweet claims that President Obama might launch military strikes in Libya or Iran due to falling poll numbers and describes him as desperate. The image shows the tweet in the older Twitter Web Client interface, with the timestamp visible at the bottom.

No discussion of democracy. No discussion of elections. Plenty of talk by Trump about running the country and taking the oil. Let’s not forget to thank John Roberts for his role in immunizing this international criminal.
