My next thought was that most folks probably record to their phone’s camera app rather than live-streaming. (That’s what I would do at a moment’s notice.)

Does anyone know of simple, reliable, and secure apps or services to stream/upload in real time in addition to recording on a phone locally?

A thought has been haunting me this morning. Alex Pretti was filming during the whole encounter leading up to his death. (Perhaps even afterward...)

ICE/DHS almost certainly has his phone now. It seems unlikely (though certainly not impossible) we’ll ever see that footage.
But he was recording.
