I just now got a "wow! You're 44? You must have a great moisturizer!" and I am not sure how to feel. On the one hand (hair flip), yes, thank you, I do use great moisturizer. Thanks for noticing! On the other hand, is 44 "wow!" old? Thoughts?

Because there are either violent criminals hiding in CPS, or this is a fear tactic purely for publicity. And I gotta tell ya, the background checks and yearly fingerprints I have to go through to run a bookfair in CPS makes me think this situation has nothing to do with "violent criminals."

I live in Chicago, IL. I have an important question. Quite possibly the MOST important question. And no one is asking it, so I will.

There are violent criminals hiding in our schools? Really? Why didn't anyone do anything about it before now? Why is this just now coming to light?

I have 2 children under 10. That means my car is a rolling goldfish/wrapper/ friutsnack mobile. I made a new rule where the kids have to clean out the car every Sat. 1 week in, the 9 year old decided that he hates cleaning and would rather just not make a mess. Follow me for more parenting hacks.

What are the chances that my kids will sleep in after letting them stay up as late as they can tonight?
