The view of Allain's River from the Gardens is stunning, and the red of the Stewartstonian Azalea adds a nice pop of colour.
Flowering Dogwood (Cornus florida), like many plants, has religious meaning.
The four petals of the flower appear blood-stained and are said to represent the cross, and the central cluster can be seen as symbolizing the crown of thorns.
Cloudy days are gorgeous too!
