Finished two books today, and next is the second book in the Mistborn series, "The Well of Ascension." I'm excited because the first one was so good!

We had this when we lived in the UK a lot and it turned out it's because the drivers get an unrealistic amount of deliveries to make in a day.

So to work around it, they will say it's been delivered on the day, but it wasn't, then miraculously it's delivered the following day. Super annoying!

The ads aren't even that long and pretty much are mostly geared towards being ~30s so it just loops 4-6 times.

Nice that Duolingo's new "Charge" system, replacing the old hearts system, when you run out of charge, hits you with ads that are +2minutes to earn some charge back.

The 30s, sometimes 1m ad was bearable, but this is just a joke now surely 😂

Got round to repairing my WH1000xm3's instead of buying a new pair, new battery, side brackets and earcups for a rough grand total of ~£25.

The satisfaction of turning the headphones back on, it working and sound coming out of both earcups 🤩

I also found out they were just ordering said book from a larger chain store, feels like a second middleman got added in between lol

I'm all for supporting local book stores, but when they take 2 months to order in a book, as they had forgotten to order it, I'm sort of out off 😅
