Three Grape Hyacinths sit on short stems and are surrounded by their green leaves. Each flower has tightly-packed florets that are just starting to open up. The bottom third of each bloom has small open blue florets that look like tiny grapes with a touch of white.

My Grape Hyacinths (Muscari) are starting to bloom in my garden.

About a dozen purple crocuses with orange stamens are in the center of the photo. They are surrounded by dark soil, very small pebbles and brown leaves.
