Reminder: DHS nominee Markwayne Mullin is one of the most active stock-traders in the Senate — and violated the STOCK Act against insider trading as recently as last August.

He currently holds stock in L3Harris, which has millions in contracts with ICE and FEMA.

Afghan asylum-seeker dies in ICE custody, US advocacy group says Mohommad Nazeer Paktyawal is at least the 12th person to die ​in ICE detention this year.

He wasn't just an asylum seeker. Paktyawal was an Afghan special forces soldier who worked with the U.S. Army's 3rd Special Forces Group. He was evacuated on August 30, 2021, entered the U.S. legally and had a pending case with a work permit and social security number. Killed by ICE maggots.

Remember: There is nothing natural or inevitable about extreme inequality; it’s the result of an economic system that values wealth and power over human dignity and justice.

It doesn't have to be this way.

We can’t boycott everything but we can boycott some. Everyone can do something. Don’t give up because you think a small contribution is too small. Millions of small acts to take down this regime add up.
