I wish I had gotten a photo, but this morning I was woken up by wild turkeys gobbling loudly on my neighbors lawn. 😆 We have a massive flock of them in my neighborhood, and it is just the coolest thing to see.

A week rarely goes by that either my husband or myself DOESN'T use some fancy ass word in casual conversation. We're both big freaking nerds, his mother was a librarian, and I grew up reading the encyclopedia for fun.

Ten days ago, I lost a cat that was absolutely my soulmate. My heart doesn't have the strength to deal with the current bullshit. All I can do is hunker down, hold my remaining cats & husband, have a nice dinner, and pray for numerous emboli to grant us mercy.

The most beautiful cat in the world: she is very small for her age, white with calico patches, curled up on a fuzzy pink blanket, with a blue fuzzy blanket behind her. Her tail is wrapped around her paws and her head is up, looking just past the photographer. Green eyes are wide open and bright, and her white whiskers are slightly curled at the end. She is precious beyond words, a perfect little doll.

Sadly, we lost our beautiful Tegan Tasoula this past Saturday. 🌈 She struggled with gastroenteritis since she was 5 months old, and very few treatments had lasting success. Even the feeding tube put in last week could not hold off the inevitable. We'll see you in the afterlife, teeny beanie girl.
