I never thought that America would become a fascist dictatorship either. I used to love visiting the US, but not anymore. He is not only ruining the US, but the damage he's causing up here in Canada is terrible. 150 years of friendship destroyed. We still love decent Americans.

I hope so much this will be the beginning of the end for that monster. They will try every trick in the book to cheat, but if enough people show up to vote, you guys can still overwhelm the dirty tricks with sheer numbers. Those of us outside the US are rooting for you. The entire world is!

It's weird isn't it. I'm pretty old, so I learned it first hand from my father who was a 15 year old boy in Poland when the Nazis invaded.

I think that Carter was the last decent US president. When Reagan took over one of his first acts was to remove the solar panels Carter had installed on the whitehouse roof.

From what I hear, they are planning to run Harris again. The corporate Dems will never let go of their cash cows and would rather lose than run a progressive.

My pet peeve is people (and there are many) who spell the word lose as loose. Once and for all, the word lose as in to lose your car keys is not spelled loose as in my belt is too loose.

I often wonder the same thing. There needs to be a general strike. The problem is that they are afraid of losing their jobs which in the US means losing healthcare. Either that or they are placing their hopes in the midterms which likely will be rigged.

So now that Orban is out, could this mean that the days of far right politicians are finally all going to come to an end? The people clearly say no to fascist rule. Things in the news to celebrate are few and far between these days. That's why Orban's defeat is especially delicious.

5 years ago I had an abdominal aneurysm burst and it nearly ended my life. An incredibly talented vascular surgeon saved me against all odds. I'm so grateful to those whose expertise do this work everyday.

She is back at home and requires a daily visit from a nurse to change her wound dressing. She gets around the house with a walker and still has a long road ahead until she's fully recovered. The important thing is that she's still here thanks to the brilliant surgeons who saved her life.
