It reminded me of when a coworker getting out of her truck commented to me on the destructability of another coworkers smart car while I was locking up the bicycle I use to commute to work.

Don't read the comments, mostly people who missed the 'genuine need' part. And people who definitely don't want to get smooshed in an accident ( but are apparently perfectly happy smooshing other people).
I do not believe that cake can legitimately be made from puffed rice.
I'm with you on pineapples but I am against fruit named for its colour. I work with toddlers who are learning both the names of fruit and the names of colours and I'm tired of being looked at like I'm the idiot when I say, yes it is orange but it is a peach.
Excellent idea.
Right! Many of whom turn a blind eye when an actual man assaults a woman.
I'm just glad all the little girls in places like Bolivia, Sudan and Afghanistan can rest assured they can achieve their Olympic dreams on a fair playing field 🤦
Oh, I like this. I know all this but having it in a chart is such a helpful reminder. I am going to print it and put it up where my coworkers and I can reference it.
Nicely played
It really sums up the world right now.
This was several years ago but if they weren't singing that they missed a huge opportunity.

The “eat more protein!!!” message is popping up all over, usually in the context of encouraging more meat.
This could have huge impacts on land use requirements, water use & pollution, emissions etc.
Americans consume >200 pounds of meat/person/year. We should eat more plants/less meat instead.
Yes! Unfortunately BC did not listen to sleep experts so we are stuck with daylight savings time forever. Still happy we finally made the change though.
I'd be feeling really smug about my decision to go car free except I had knee surgery and need rides everywhere 🫤.
I loved Mathnet. I have never forgotten the Fibonacci sequence.
As someone who doesn't have a good grasp on economics, I found this article enlightening and heartening. #taxtherich
Waffle hater!
I did some 'wow math' recently when reading a book that took place in 1959. Once upon a time 1959 was "a really long time ago!", now it's "only" 21 years before I was born.
I'd kind of be ok if they did away with 'hot dogs'. It's not something I serve often at daycare but it feels really weird when a child asks for 'more puppy.'
If anything, this tragedy shows the need for more gender affirming care. I don't condone the shooters actions but I can't imagine living as a young trans woman in a small isolated northern community. You read the hateful comments online, this person lived the hateful comments.
Dogs are so good at living their best life.

How many of those include people like me who cancelled their accounts but are still getting charged?
Yes, people's need to know "now" supercedes the desire to know correctly.
Yes! I work at an infant/toddler daycare. We go for walks in the community and I love seeing the looks of joy the children bring to people's faces.
It's gotten up to 13c /55f in the last few days here 😕. Most of our snow has melted and the trees think its spring. It is likely to get very cold again and all the new buds will freeze.
Isn't Russia banned?
Wintry mix is the worst. Well slush is the worst. Fluffy light snow in high winds is second worst, when it comes to shoveling, and wintry mix comes in third. I adore snow too.
You always make my heart smile 😊
Lots of Canadians go to Mexico for dental work.
