To all those men asking why these women didn’t file police reports, I direct you to the Epstein files as an example. Despite police reports, in some cases depositions under oath and NO justice has been dispensed from a court of law. The women are re-traumatized and the men are free.
Pointing out Congressional inaction on impeachment is not mean.

It's factual, because we observe their actions.
We can either fix this by pressuring them to do their jobs or by voting them all out, but it must be fixed. Soon.

Even though the President did not follow through with his genocidal threat, he should still be removed from office. No one should ever be allowed to make genocidal threats without political consequences, including those who serve in the White House.
In a healthy society, citizens should have the option to ignore politics. In an unhealthy society, citizens must be forever vigilant, since their government cannot be trusted to do the right thing. Of course, part of the reason we're in this mess is because we chose to ignore politics for so long.
Don't taco Tuesday this shit. Millions of people spent the day wondering if they would get vaporized, and no one in our government stood up to him. Nothing cutesy about it.

I feel sick to my stomach waiting around to see what atrocity Trump has in mind for the people of Iran this evening. It's hard to fathom our other elected leaders aren't able to check him in any meaningful way. It's an indictment not just of voters but of our whole system. We're ruled by a mad king.
I don't know if we can stop the terrible things that are happening.
But I do know that we can commit ourselves as individuals and communities and societies to seek justice for as long as it takes.
