cross-posting from my NSFW so pardon Clarice's bush, but I'm taking commissions again โ๏ธ
Also the hetero thing makes me extra-insane because it's literally Only The Two Bayonettas, out of thousands. MAYBE three, if you interpret China Bayonetta's relationship with her previous general as romantic. Every other one is left wide open for fans to play dolls with.
The game never says that they are, is the thing. Like, the final scene literally takes place in a restored universe you saw get destroyed in Chapter 1 and brings characters who explicitly died back to life. That part of it is actually more overt than anything else, I think.
it's remarkable the way this single shot totally rehabilitated Aerith's image after like two straight decades of her being relegated to "Girl who stands in a void going ๐" in every other piece of FF7 material
I just learned that this guy literally got struck by lightning when he was playing Mel Gibson's Jesus and I dunno man, if I was even slightly religious I would take that as. a pretty big sign
the post-timeskip design is also just.... so much worse than the one he busted out in Alabasta
they did make a Bayo 3, I famously liked it a lot
allegedly a translated interview from The World Of Hideki Kamiya, a book about his career that released recently
it's really funny that, for all the ways Bayonetta Origins faithfully translates elements of the series to a very different kind of game, I would say one of its biggest departures from it's bigger sisters is the fact that its narrative has logic that is capable of being grasped by human beings
like, Kamiya mentioning this bit in Bayonetta 1 that I always forget about about the moon being COMPLETELY DESTROYED and then fine again later, because like, yeah, I do see what you were going for when it's pointed out so explicitly, but why would you expect a normal person to pick up on this at all
it's impossible for me to blame people for not really grokking the ending of Bayo 3 without watching it a couple of times over with the right mindset, because the storytelling in Bayonetta is comically bad at communicating narrative beats, and, this is important, literally always has been
lmao Kamiya finally coming right out and just saying "oh yeah all those characters weren't like. dead forever at the end of Bayonetta 3"
it's so funny, every other airport I'm like "[sweating] I gotta be there like 2 hours early just in case" and then BUR has me at my gate 5 minutes from walking in the door
using the cartoon gun that shoots out a little flag, we call that bang-banging
lmao really fun that you can talk to the protagonist of the main game and he's just like "The puzzles in this DLC are a bit too easy for me. I heard the puzzles in the FIRST GAM- I mean The Simulation were harder and I'm sad I missed that"
having to step away from your redirecting lasers puzzle game because a robot lady's soul said a thing that was way too real again and now you have to go stare at the ceiling for an hour
finally getting around to the Talos Principle 2 DLC that came out like 2 years, which is a very funny timegap to play more of what I would call one of my top 5 games of all time
I will say, Orpheus Ascending sure is a bad one to start with if you have paralyzing anxiety about death like meeeeeeeee
best thing about making friends with new people is repeatedly being able to go "so here's one of my characters and here's 1000 drawings of her pussy and"
My 'looking for work' image- shows a cartoony Hannah riding a horse, declaring her availability for work. Shows my work exp. and contact info
storyboard panel from Apple & Onion. A&O are working at a fast food restaraunt and dejectedly looking at a french fry.
Storyboard panel from Craig of the Creek. Shows Handlebarb in the foreground turning to glare o/s as the rest of the 10 Speeds pose dramatically
gouache painting of an orange pony with a green mane and tail prancing in a blue bg
It's #PortfolioDay again! I'm an experienced storyboard revisionist available for full-time or freelance work! I also love to paint!

thinking about that time Adventure Time just had a character homosexually sing an actual Mitski song
we used to be a real country
universe of funny animals going "humans are a kind of animal" is a weirdly untapped trope
I still think we missed out on the funniest possible timeline in not getting the version of Star Fox 2 with just, a normal human lady on the team
remembering Starlink going "Fox and his friends are literally 3 feet tall next to a normal human" and clapping my little hands in delight
the washy device......
this reads like me scratching summoning circles into the floor
