For assets, I was mostly talking about Characters, World, Stories... from your favorite media that are already available and you can use to make your fan works. They're kind of like tools that are given to you.

While being on your own means you have to make your own tools and learn how to use them.

It also sucks not being in a fandom, you don't have years of already built assets to help you make stuff, you have to rely on your own skills. It feels like starting from scratch.

Ah no problems, it's just that most people followed for me for fandoms contents (TFH videos, Touhou scans,...) and I never got to make the bridge between original work and fandom work.

These days I feel weird because I kind of feel like I'm being forgotten.

I hope I'll have more success when I start posting more of my original stuff because I really don't want a 50k YT video I made in highschool to be my prime
