It's notable that Sen. Ossoff is pressing this attack in a tight re-election fight in a purple state. The rest of the party needs to pay attention.

Business Legend Warren Buffet calls out America's Billionaires
If 800 other major corporations paid what Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway did in taxes, Americans wouldn't have to pay a dime.
A demonstration at the Dilley Concentration Camp in Texas. Children and families have been imprisoned in the concentration camp in Texas for months, and all they’ve experienced is abuse, neglect, mistreatment, undrinkable water and moldy food. #SHUTDOWNDILLEY

Dear #merica, #ShadyVance is also working for putin.
These responses remind me of the people who said, "The Democrats and Republicans are no different from Coke and Pepsi, so why vote for Al Gore?"
In 1953 Iran had a functioning democracy. A free press. Seven political parties. Women in universities. Women granted voting rights in municipal councils in 1952. A secular prime minister named Mosaddegh who believed Iran's oil belonged to Iran. The US and Britain decided he had to go.
He is insane.
And this is an open declaration of intended genocide.
If any other world leader said this, there would be sanctions and an arrest warrant, not just for him, but for his whole regime.
Is there a way for you guys to frame your frustration with the Democrats in a way that is constructive instead of an invitation to cynicism and disengagement?
Such a wild, sweet writer. And wise. Nothing but fond memories.
The message of Jesus is in direct opposition to White Christian nationalism.
I'm happy to see that Christian ministers are standing up, and getting the attention for their work for peace and justice.
"the lawsuit asks the courts to stop the agency from making arrests without warrants or probable-cause determinations, and to make the government pay the expenses and legal fees of those who were improperly detained..."

Seems to me that this cartoon depicts something that was well covered in the New York Times and other mainstream news outlets. Cynicism isn't helpful.

What he says…
An infographic titled "president Trump is reshaping the media", reposted from his truth social account.
Donald Trump is now just openly bragging about interfering in the media. He's the president. He's running a truck over the first amendment here.
Obama: "We are living in a time where it can be hard to hope. Each day we wake up to some new assault on our democratic institutions. Another setback to the idea of the rule of law ... but this man - Rev. Jesse Jackson - inspires us to take a harder path ... bc if we don't step up, nobody else will"
Our nation is again at war, not because we had to but because the president recklessly chose to.
Now we must recognize who pays the price: not the president and his wealthy allies, but service members and ordinary Americans.
Here's story we did, laying it out:
Derek Chauvin had a body-cam not only when he killed George Floyd, but also when he knelt on necks of others, including a 14-year-old. The boy's mother begged, "“Please, please do not kill my son!”
Supervisors ignored it all

"Antiseptic judicial rhetoric cannot do justice to what is happening. Across the interior of the United States, agents of the federal government—masked, anonymous, armed with military weapons ... are seizing persons without any semblance of due process." storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...
A MOTHER JONES SCOOP! New details from Epstein files reveal Lutnick had a years-long business tie with the sex offender. This challenges his claim he had minimal contact with Epstein. The two were involved in a deal for six years, and an email shows they discussed it. @nlanard.bsky.social

Elias Law Group is litigating 85 voting and election cases in 40 states. This is the largest litigation docket we have ever carried as a firm and I expect new cases to be filed this week.
We are not done fighting and we are not done winning.⚖️🗳️🥊

MIKE LAWLER: As a long-term mechanism, I don't support tariffs
KATZ: But didn't you vote for tariffs? You say Congress should be a check, but you haven't done it. This is the problem with the GOP
LAWLER: Respectfully, I've pushed back on numerous things
I’ve been enjoying this wide-ranging and even-handed book, which tells the story of Diem’s overthrow very well. Ironically, this otherwise-reasonable review ends by replacing Cheever’s nuances, the stuff of tragedy, with old partisan cliches.
