After three spins of the new album of der Weg einer Freiheit I can truly say I have not heard a better album this year.

In the song ‘Unsterblichkeit’ there was the passage where he sang “ich baue mir die Welt zu recht” and that clicked massively with me.

Please let me know if you like it (a lot).

What about the Collier d‘Ombre record? That one improved this years average score considerably for me.

The new Theurgion album(all under heaven) is soooo, sooooo good. One of the best album of 2025! #metalsky

The new Abigail Williams record is one big disappointment for me. Especially if you know they can make a song like „beyond the veil“ like they did in 2012.

Bought some tickets for the Samhain festival in Maastricht (Netherlands). Killer line-up with Sunken, Winterfylleth, Heretoir, Eïs, Enisum etc. Very much looking forward to this one. #blackmetalsky

#fortress2025. I really had the best time with Dödsrit, Moonlight Scorcery, Abduction etc. I went to see Agalloch because they have been my favourite band ever. They were not in the shape imho. The riffs seemed a little off and the band was not completely in sync. Does anyone agree of disagree?
