After years of complaining about cancel culture, the current administration has taken it to a new and dangerous level by routinely threatening regulatory action against media companies unless they muzzle or fire reporters and commentators it doesn’t like.

This is the way. I’ve spent the last 23 years at universities in some capacity. Well over half my life. My familiarity with them has bred plenty of contempt. But sweet Jesus it’s about time universities stand up and defend the enormous good they’ve done for the world. Loudly and unapologetically.
