Hello, I'd like to report a robbery.
#rpdr #gobsmacked
Wow, Keyla Richardson was amazing!

Ok, so that was least climactic finale in history, and I'm not mad about it, even if it was telegraphed for most of the season; but based on that final lip sync well... She definitely didn't win that final lip sync.
Ok, we need to talk about how both #Doc and #BrilliantMinds are both doing these gas-lighting, driving someone crazy for revenge and/or profit...
Just. Fucking. No.
Who on earth thought this was a good narrative choice to explore for either of these shows?
Spare me with the torture-porn.
Then there's me... When I was small, white stripe of grandma's Nivea across my face, with, for some reason, an empty hot water bottle strapped to my chest. #PrinceCharming

Interesting take, though I'm not sure I'd call @matthewmercer.bsky.social s Blood Hunter a "clear Witcher homage" as much as I would a clear Grey Warden homage.
This is Bailey, say hello internet.
Lost this year -- the two prior were both 16 though, and died from expected age-related conditions; but I've been spoiled with cat karma and had them usually live into the early or mid 20s.
Below I've attached my eulogy to Kaylee, it's my favourite picture I ever took of her:
We decided that our beautiful 9 year old sisters should be together, and we kept them that way, I just couldn't justify letting River starve to death and go into organ failure because the decision was going to be "hard".
I miss them both, more than I thought possible, and this makes 4 cats we've
To acknowledge she was ill. She kept doing her rituals, acting like nothing was wrong, even while the cancer consumed her from the inside. Her nose turned white (from pink), the insides of her ears were yellow, and she was skin and bones from tip to tail. She'd also stopped growing back fur.
Her battle with Squamish cell carcinoma was horrific, brutal, and cruel, but we had 6 more months with her than we'd first expected, even if the last few were with her blissed out.
Her sister, River, lost her own battle -- but with lymphoma. The hardest part about her illness was that she refused
All the necrotizing skin came off, and it was clear that the opiates were the only thing keeping her half sanguine.
I swallowed my heart and my soul and we took her for a "quality of life" assessment at our Vet, but I knew full well what the answer was going to be.
But on Wednesday something changed -- either she had a stroke, or the cancer intruded and pushed against her optics nerves. She went blind, at least partially, and at least for a while, and then the cancerous wounds on her chin and jaw just hemorrhaged.
Yesterday was one of the hardest days of my life. After six months of struggling and fighting, we lost both Kaylee and River to cancer.
Kaylee had been living on opiates for weeks, and honestly, I think she would have just kept on that way just to make me happy, until everything failed.
I'll never really stop being disappointed with #BrendanBrazier for selling #Vega to a soulless corp, who seem to have sold it further to some more soulless hedge fund? What was a staple for years is not essentially unbearable chocolate sand to me.
Okay, that's not entirely fair.
To sand.
Ncuti Gatwa - My 2nd fav Doctor.
Poor Pope. Once again he's going to be sad that he isn't a ginger.
Anne McCaffrey's work doesn't get nearly the exposure it deserves.
What you need, when making a list of the most influential Gen X albums, is albums from when Gen X were in their formative teenage years, so 1978-1995.
So what I'm going to do is post 1 entry from the list at a time, and fill the list out as it grows.
The list you'll typically get are albums from the 1965-1980 years that encompass Gen X, which isn't accurate at all, because for the majority of those years the list they'd give you would be while Gen X were infants or small children.
Am I the only one who finds the the tone of the #homeaglow commerical disgusting?
"We *fired* our housekeeper because we found someone we could pay only $19 to!" (paraphrased)
Biggest commitment to a 3 second joke I've ever seen
<looks around> Was Tasers really the hot button topic we needed right now @lastweektonight.com ?

Well, its been almost 2 weeks since John Oliver said some cats deserve cancer.
River has had her third chemo session, & our oncologist tells us she's showing signs of improvement.
Kaylee had her stitches out & she starts radiation treatment next week.
John, you know what to do gofund.me/e89a7987
Why only PayPal though? :/
