The Atmospheric Stillness of Hasui Kawase’s Summer Rain This 1932 woodblock print by Hasui Kawase, titled Summer Rain, captures a tranquil river scene in Japan during a gentle downpour. The composition is dominated by a vast, greenish-blue body of water reflecting a distant shoreline and a sailboat, while a small cluster of houseboats is moored in the foreground. A solitary figure with a blue umbrella walks along the grassy bank, adding a sense of quietude and human presence to the misty landscape.

This beaded purse is so gorgeous & it looks amazing sewn down to a matboard & framed so it may be hung on a wall.
A gentleman came in before Christmas looking for framing for a special art print. He was bold in his design ideas & had four frames to choose from and the result is this fox draped in a blue mat & framed in this green frame by Folkgraphis that when seen in person makes the whole image look 3 D.

I am in awe of Owen & his ability to take a piece of wood & turn it into a functional art. These paring knives are so glorious. Made with wood or wood & resin - a tang that runs through the handle for strength & the Damascus steel blade. Each knife has its own handmade sheath with a design.
Think 🤔 of a turkey or ham smoked presented on this large board. Charcuterie set out this large board for your company Christmas party, a cheese slicer for this cheese lovers in your family (ours gets used at least four times a week).
up.

A show of minis by various artists who by the way had so much fun creating for this show. Ruth created these animals in watercolour on paper, waxed so it may be a fixed to a board but light enough to ship in a card.
Diane has created these striking images in Encaustic. The pops of colour, the sweeping skies, winter’s skeleton trees with frost on them provide a sense of wholeness & freedom.

Sue designed the framing for this gorgeous needlework. Stretched the needlework & laced it, cut the @peterboromatboards suede mat & cut the moulding (aka frame) supplied by @folkgraphis_frames & assembled the frame then she cut the museum glass as supplied by @truvueglazing.
