Started playing yesterday and yeah it’s hitting the spot. I’d been aimlessly floating from game to game since I finished Ghost of Yotei last week, and now I think I’ll be on God of War kick for awhile.

I was thinking of playing GoW 3 too all of a sudden. I’ve played 1 & 2, and the two most recent with Daddy Kratos, but I didn’t have a PS3 so I missed out. I’ve been debating whether it would be good to go back but wasn’t sure till I saw this lol.

I just platinumed Ghost of Yotei, and while it’s definitely great, I can’t help but feel something is missing. Maybe it’s too short?

I had the blessing of playing Tshushima after Iki Island DLC was out and the multiplayer and that may be what’s affecting my reaction.

Got up early this morning to play Ghost of Yotei as soon as I could and I’m already blown away by the subtle improvements they made. For instance, you can seamlessly play your shamisen while walking around gathering items. Making the mundane just as engaging as the rest of the game.

Just got the the credits of Clair Obscur, and there maybe recency bias, but it’s up there with the absolute best jrpgs I’ve ever played. The ending floored me.

I made it a little past the Act 1 title screen, and really impressed by the combat in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

My love/hate relationship with the Switch 2 Direct continues. Lol

So I’ve never been huge into Mario Kart. I’ve always enjoyed it, but never enough to really stick with it. I didn’t even buy 8 Deluxe because felt I had played 8 on Wii U enough. But after watching the treehouse where they were playing World, damn it looks special!

Wow I’m so torn on the Nintendo Direct. There was a lot to get excited for. The new Donkey Kong game really looks phenomenal, the little bit of Metroid Prime 4 they showed looks amazing. However, the prices are a very tough pill to swallow. Not sure if it’s a day 1 purchase for me.

I got burned out on FF16 at the start of the dlc, so I decided to switch it up and try Witcher 3. Which was fun, but it made me realize that what I really wanted to play was Ghost of Tsushima.

Yeah, I tried really hard to get into it but it was so boring.
