these lying idiots are the ones that told their coworkers that their jobs were gone 1 Apr, they are rightly being ignored by the real people. What a fucking disgrace that these women are trying to set up political runs instead of being fired for being liars and slanders.

Doctor calls for more resources for women and gender-diverse patient care | CBC News Even as he and his colleagues work “at full speed,” the head of obstetrics and gynaecology for the province’s central zone and IWK Health Centre says there are not enough resources to meet demand.

Can confirm.

I’ve had to have a hysterectomy in Colchester. There is a 3 year wait for the pelvic pain specialists at the IWK. This system is absolutely fucked for women and gender diverse people. #nspoli

I bet that the oil and gas will immediately raise prices by the same amount or more, the exact thing they did when the CT was removed. It is simply transferring tax dollars to the oil and gas industry. This will cost us on both ends

anyone want to bet that when the 10C/l comes off on Monday that the NS UARB will immediately raise the price by 10C/l. The exact same thing happened to the CT, it was removed and the oil and Gas immediately raised prices to above the CT amount. This is all a scam. www.cbc.ca/news/politic...

Pretty sure AI could arrange our societal power structures far better than what we have currently.
Having 1% of people who often possess psychopathic personality traits & antisocial personality disorders in the highest echelons of power is beyond stupid.

no party is going to willingly change the current system, all parties benefit from first past the post. The smaller the turnout the better for them all, they just need to get out 1 more voter than the second party. They know they will switch power back and forth. mandatory voting is needed

according to CBC news this morning the cost of produce is high and going higher because all the fertilizer to grow produce this summer is coming through the strait of hormuz, never mind the fertilizer in Canada is from canada and we are one of the largest suppliers in the world. What a F'ing scam

I personally would not call the system broken, because it is operating as designed: to channel wealth to property owners at the expense of anyone else in need of housing, with especially dire consequences for those living at the margins.

Two recent studies have re-examined risk of birds colliding with rotor blades of wind turbines.
Research found that there was not a single collision.

Nearly six years reporting on working homeless families taught me one thing: the precarity isn't incidental to the profits. It's how you get them.

Kimberly-Clark could pay a living wage and still clear almost $2 billion a year. They can afford to pay workers enough to live. They just choose not to.

I remember back in the early days of the internet, visiting the Nova Scotia Wikipedia page and reading about how the province is well known for entrenched political corruption. Pretty sad that nothing has changed.

Great time for the shame of Nova Scotia to snuggle up to her. Our democracy is under attack by organized crime syndicates masquerading as governments. Houston unilaterally lifted lifelong bans on fracking & uranium mining. Same authoritarian, anti-democracy playbook being executed by Smith & Ford.

I have no problem with the roundabouts, the problem in NS is the design of crosswalks in places that are dangerous for pedestrians. Plus the drivers who absolutely have zero idea of the road laws that govern the use of the roundabouts. In many countries they work beautifully. Drivers here = problem

Just a thought, the crazy B***h premier in AB is threatening to use the not withstanding clause of the charter to push through a separatist addenda. How about another government or the feds just then immediately use the same clause to over ride her. That would blow the remaining brain cell she has.
