3-4 days of war spending equals 1 year of national parks. This isn't about affordability, it's about priorities.”

Defunding America’s Best Idea.

The proposed FY2027 budget includes a ~25% cut to the National Park Service, along with major reductions to other public land agencies.

Field level shots from Barcelona look like they’re out of a video game. Putellas’s 30th Champions’ League goal. Madrid had no chance today, but Alexis just wanted to make that clear. Now 7-2 on aggregate.

They’d rather the country be poorer and whiter than rich and diverse. Of course when the pie shrinks, the rich will demand the same amount and will tell you the crumbs you’re left with are because of immigrants or trans people or DEI. bsky.app/profile/apne...

The push for sex verification tests is rooted in racism and they're explicit about it. Not a surprise they want to eliminate the 3 Black women in this photo.

Week 4 and it looks like Chris Armas’s Current are about to be 1-3. So the question is how long the Longs allow this from a team that broke records a year ago to go on?

It's legitimately encouraging to hear people inside the league say what is obvious to anyone outside of it. There clearly aren't enough of them, but at least we know there are people in the room making the case.

Meet Huntingdon Valley-bred Erica Dambach, who built Penn State’s pipeline to the USWNT Nineteen years into her tenure as Penn State’s head women’s soccer coach, Dambach has built one of the nation’s top college programs and has sent a raft of players to the sport's biggest stages.

It's not just about how good a coach Dambach is. It's how she has built an outstanding pipeline of players who've gone on to the NWSL, the #USWNT, the #CanWNT, and more.

Words here from Dambach and people who know her - Emma Hayes, Sam Coffey, and Emily Sonnett:

Perhaps an on field decision followed by a clear & obvious (timed?) review or maybe this is where teams are allowed 1 challenge per game (maybe per half).

Preface: I don’t know the answer.

Marginal offside decisions are imho wrong, goals are hard to score in our game, marginal decisions should favor the attacker.

I don’t like the idea of moving lines but VAR measuring a different place for 10 minutes.
