Two Storm Wood by Philip Gray is an exceptional crime novel set in the aftermath of WW1 if you're looking for something to read this weekend. I listened to it on audio and Justin Avoth does a lovely job. Anyway, Philip Gray goes straight into my list of novelists that I want to read more from.

A man is digging up the road outside my house. He says it is to lay a pipe. But he might be digging for gold. It's hard to know what to do. So I sip my coffee and watch him carefully.
