Our greenhouse lights/fixtures need to be replaced. What light systems are newer university/commercial greenhouses using these days? Are we shifting to LEDs and away from high pressure sodium?

So pleased to have been included on this paper, which is all PhD candidate Sierra Jaeger from the LoPresti lab! @ericlopresti.bsky.social
Please share! Our lab is recruiting a PhD student to join us starting fall 2026. Our group is broadly interested in plant molecular evolution and comparative genomics. More info about our lab and grad programs at Colorado St. is available on our lab website.

Going to do some hummingbird pollination observations this spring, and exploring having backup camera/photos to supplement in-person observations. Curious if anyone has successfully used camera traps/game cameras to capture hummers? Don't want to use regular video cameras if I can help it.
so fluffy!!!!!!
Ocean optics spec and/or standardized photography with a reference color card!
Thanks, Lynda! I sure will be and very much looking forward to it!
I am excited to share that I will be joining the Department of Biology at James Madison University as an assistant professor this fall! Looking forward to starting my lab, where we will study floral color evolution, Silene speciation, and plant pollinator interactions! #newPI
