The pacing is really quick, but if we really think about it for a hot minute, many characters move continents without any hussle whatsoever.

As a Black organization movie, it is miles better than movie 13. But can't reach the peaks of movie 5.

Most of the character gets sidelined, but that's a good thing because it really have time to focuses on black organizations. Curaçao back in 2016 which was echoed as "Rum" has now become an outdated topic.

I have come to accept that Conan Movies are now fully shifting genres left and right. There's no interesting mystery present in this movie. But the action though, from start to finish there are lots of actions that will for sure amaze the audiences

Fun fact, this was the first Conan movie i watched in the year that it was originally released. So when i watched it again i was a bit dissapointed.

And also, how come anyone just let (alleged) Shinichi do stuffs?

Sadly, The middle felt apart that easy. The antagonist felt forced and the sudden reveal of yet another culprit is just cheap. Although they’ve been setting us the audience up in the plain sight. We still don’t know where exactly Conan get the ideas from.

This entry was a mixed bag. It had some of the most fun cold open in Conan Movies. Kid Heist couple that with an even better airplane set pieces than movie 8. The Ost that played throughout the movie replacing the usual Kid theme is also great!

Not much to say other than great action with imposing main villain.

Right around the middle, There are two scenes with the same goal, to set up final equipment for Conan to use at the end of the film.

It should have been made into one singular scene as Agasa's quiz to keep the story going, and not drag too long.

The mystery is also great which leads the audience to believe in Kogoro's initial analysis.

Many scenes where the characters speak English, but it's a bit jarring to say the least.

In my opinion, this is the most textbook film so far. Deeply rich and well-rounded characters inside. This is the first time that the FBI (and Akai family) appears in a movie after appearing much earlier in the series.

Ran also has its moments. and her rescue at the end is an upgrade from the previous films which were quite stupid (I’m staring at you, movie 9).

8/10

I can see why this entry is totally among fans favorites.

Great moments sprinkled throughout. whether it's Heiji and Kazuha's small moments or Sato and Takagi’s hug near the end.

Not to mention, the main theme really conveys radar sound seeimg that we are in the distant sea. Same radar mentioned will save Ran later on. ALSO the comeback of Ran no Ketsui theme since movie 5!
