First class of the semester in the books and now it’s time to tuck into “Around the World in 80 Days.”

I’m finally “old” enough to borrow these from my mom’s collection.

My semester kicks off today and I can’t wait to meet my college writing students. I teach at a community college and for most of my students this will be their only writing and/or humanities class. All of which is to say, I’m excited!

Exactly. And they are making bold moves, once again, this session. Crippling the courts, making bills private … going after the most vulnerable like the queer and trans community instead of doing real, positive governance.

A must read — and as a neighbor to north Idaho, a lot do this is happening in Montana, too.
