I speed through the process, and exit the stall to find two migrant workers standing by another stall, seemingly for protection. “Can we shelter here?” I ask a barista standing just outside the washroom. Nonchalantly, he explains that the building is old and will probably collapse if anything lands nearby. “Do I have time to get to a proper shelter?” I ask.
