Demoting Kristi Noem isn’t accountability. She oversaw an agency that abused its power, terrorized citizens, and sowed distrust in our communities. This change isn’t a substitute for real justice and real reform.

Thank you to my friends, Ginny Deerin & Linda Ketner, for hosting such a wonderful gathering last night. Leaders & neighbors who’ve been invested in the future of SC for decades and who believe we can win this seat. Proud to stand with those committed to moving SC-01 forward.

Highlights: Trump casts a rosy vision of America while chastising his political enemies President Donald Trump spent his State of the Union touting his economic and immigration agenda, hoping a long list of accomplishments can counter his low approval ratings.

Last night’s SOTU presented a false, rosy narrative about the economy. People don’t live on economic statistics — they live on paychecks & monthly bills. If we want to rebuild trust, we have to focus less on political division and more on restoring economic freedom to Americans.

Christian nationalist pastor speaks on his sermon to troops at Pentagon Controversial Pastor Doug Wilson's theological and historical views, particularly on gender roles and slavery, have long drawn scrutiny and criticism.

Inviting Douglas Wilson to preach at the Pentagon sends a clear and troubling message to our troops: not all of you belong. That is wrong, and it is not the military I served in—where diversity was our strength and unity was how we got the job done.

Welcome home to my son and to every service member returning to the arms of loved ones.

I’ve been on both sides of deployment — and I’ll always fight for the men and women who wear the uniform and the families who support them. Freedom isn’t free.

Proud to be endorsed by Veterans for Responsible Leadership — leaders who understand that defending democracy means honoring the oath of office and protecting the institutions that serve the American people.

Above all, he taught us to take pride in who we are and in the dignity of our work. His call for unity among working Americans is even more relevant and urgent today.

His historic presidential campaigns in the 1980s helped expand the boundaries of what was possible in American politics and opened doors for future leaders.

He challenged the nation to be more just and more compassionate.

Rev. Jesse Jackson, a son of South Carolina from just up I-26 in Greenville, is an American hero. He carried forward the work of Dr. King with unwavering determination — continuing the march, continuing the fight.

On Presidents’ Day, we honor the presidency, not for any one person, but for the responsibility it carries: upholding the Constitution, the rule of law, and serving the people.

Having served under multiple Presidents, I know our country works best when leaders put the nation above themselves.

Really enjoyed the program put on by SINO in Charleston this evening. It was a pleasure to hear the speakers tell about their experiences in Ukraine and be reminded that Democracy is worth fighting for.

This depiction of Black Americans is a tactic meant to shock and distract, with a long and violent history, and it has no place in our politics. The Obamas have always modeled dignity, empathy, and respect for the American people. That is the standard our country deserves.

‘Be prepared’. SC’s McMaster, state officials caution residents ahead of winter storm The storm could potentially cause significant power outages lasting up to four days, with temperatures dropping to 5-10 degrees in the Upstate.

South Carolinians are facing dangerous winter weather, and I urge everyone to take this storm seriously. Call the South Carolina 24/7 Winter Weather Hotline at 866-246-0133 for immediate info on shelters, road conditions, and resources.

After 35 years in uniform, I’m proud to stand with @votevets.org Military families in SC-01 deserve leaders who show up, lower costs, and get results. That’s the leadership I’ll bring to Congress.

My heart is broken, and I’m outraged by the murder of Alex Pretti, an ICU nurse and VA worker, at the hands of federal agents. I love our country; I served our country, and I know we are better than this. It’s time for Congress to step up and hold our leaders accountable.
