Late last night I wrapped up a horror game called Hollow Cocoon. A pretty standard horror game with themes around metamorphosis and some fun bonuses. I really felt like it could've done more with the monster bc by the halfway point I had the patterns completely down.

Just finished Crow Country tonight, when it comes to classic survival horror there's very few games I've played that understood the assignment. Interesting story that didn't go the direction I thought it would, along with an atmosphere that I haven't felt since playing Darkwood and Signalis.

There's so much cleverly hidden stuff in this game I'm having a blast, I'll def be finding stuff I missed on my 2nd

When I saw the mockup images it looked pretty bad I was not expecting the final product to look like it though. Amiibos have been fairly high quality recently what happened here?

Been obsessed these past few days with this survival game called Smoke and Sacrifice.

I've hinted at it so much there's no point in keeping it under wraps any longer.

For the longest time, I've been working on a way to port GB games to the GBA.

What I ended up building is a modified GB to GBA emulator that targets a fantasy console instead - I call it the GB Bridge.

Yesterday I finished The Making of Karateka. A deep dive into a game back in the early 1980s that strove to push what games were made to do back then and aimed for a more story-based experience vs the arcade games of the time. Its wonderful how much was preserved and we need more like this.

Who wrote this? Outside of RE4 and and maybe Skyrim the rest of this list feels like someone's personal thoughts than a poll. You're telling me No Nintendo, No Sega, and No NaughtyDog? Yea I don't believe this for a second at all. How is Super Metroid, one of the most influential game not here??

Rolled credits today on Pokemon Legends ZA. This is what i'm talking about. They managed to turn Lumiose city into a sprawling sandbox and the combat felt like a true evolution to the series. My only complaint is that the cutscenes felt SUPER weird without voice acting, like it was missing.

I've made significant progress animating the new player sprites for the lore game!

They still need a lot more polish but they exist now and that's the most important part!

Pleasantly surprised at how much I'm enjoying Legends ZA. Ignore my tired eyes, I'm having a blast.

Videogames are art, and all art is intrinsically a form of toy because in order to create art you must play.
