The new Aiko 495w panels on their way up the ladder. Don’t think the weather is going to allow for a proper test today though ☁️
New solar panels day 😊☀️☀️☀️
Working almost exclusively with #KMP for the last few months has been liberating.
I now confidently describe myself more broadly as a ‘mobile engineer’, and my bugs live in more people’s pockets than ever before
What I didn’t expect while potty training our toddler was how many photos of poop my wife and I would send each other, nor how excited we get every time we receive one 💩❤️
Amen 🙌
I love good design but I suck at designing anything worthy of an app store
#DryJanuary is in full swing, with #alcohol the #1 habit being tracked this month. Wishing good luck to all those giving it a shot!!
Sobo for iOS is completely free to download with no subscriptions or purchase necessary. Because there should be no barriers to quitting.

Nothing seems to eat up my Claude Code tokens more than unit testing with Kotlin coroutines and StateFlows 😞
LETS GO #JAX 🐆🐆🐆
First Christmas for my youngest, and the first one where my toddler understands the concept of it all. Probably the best Christmas ever ❤️
Merry Christmas all!!
Notification which reads: “Personal hotspot available. Do you want to join “MI5 Surveillance”?”
Why does nobody on this train want to join my hotspot??
No surprise: new analysis shows that heat pumps can deliver excellent performance even in older buildings with no meaningful correlation between building age & heat pump efficiency.
This is in line with my own experience of having a heat pump in a 1880 Victorian home with only modest insulation.
The best thing about being a mobile app developer is that your code could be sitting in the pockets of millions of people around the world. Bugs and all.

Trying to enjoy my evening but can’t stop thinking about how many ways McLaren could hand the championship to Max tomorrow 🫣
Come on guys let’s finish this 🧡🧡🧡
FWIW I’ve had decent luck when engaging with recruitment agencies (in the UK) - they’ll fight your corner and some have even coached me for specific interviews. They even help with salary negotiations, since they work on commission. Good luck with your job hunt 🤞
Watching the budget announcement today, it’s maddening how shambolic UK parliament is - heckling, shouting, spiteful personal attacks - on both sides. I get that it’s probably always been this way but, aren’t they supposed to be adults?
New job, and I’ve never felt so motivated. I have the freedom to work remotely, to balance my time with my parental responsibilities… I’m treated like an adult.
In return, I’ve already closed 3 issues including a high severity incident, in just my first week. #RTO policies are BS
New job day 😊🐙
I literally have no knowledge on this so could be nonsense, but in a situation where the UK was attacked, would it not make sense to have redundancy systems running in allied territories?
Need this! 💜
Also enjoyed writing the alt text for this image 😅
A partial screenshot of the Sobo app, showing part of a pornography sobriety tracker. There’s a two-dimensional icon that resembles the shape of a penis and testicles.
I’d like to say I’m most proud of launching Sobo because it could genuinely help someone improve their life by giving up a harmful habit.
But I have to confess that I’m also feeling incredibly smug for getting my iconography past Apple’s review process 😇🍆

If you've got a spare minute today, would massively appreciate some support to help push this towards the top! ❤️🚀

I get the exact same reaction, but I kind of understand. As a native Android dev I find it hard to consider integrating flutter/RN modules into native projects. The fact that KMP compiles to bytecode might not be enough to persuade them that it won’t result in sub-standard quality?
Hey! 👋
I took a YOLO approach to a side project while in beta, and got to production with no problems - happy to see it go stable!
I’ve found sleep to be one of the most important things in life, and I realised how much mine was being interrupted after drinking alcohol - so I decided to quit.
Wanted to track my sobriety with #ios widgets, so thought I’d build some!
