Started ‘Someone You Can Build A Nest In’ today.
Had my eye on this since first hearing about it at WorldCon last year.
That panel was suggesting this was a cozy book. One chapter in, and I’m struggling to find the ‘cozy’, but am very much enjoying the unusual set up.

I also reckon this is my first book to have a sprayed pattern on the page edges. How does everyone else best show these off?
Look at Bond - they make a new actor into a celebration.
But what they gave us just didn’t excite me. Nowhere near it.
What a fall from grace. Season 1 was one of the few fantasy shows to break into the mainstream.
Today, even this fantasy-obsessed nerd could care less about the new season.
The new trailer had so much work it needed to do.
As someone who noped out of the previous run a few episodes into season 2, a recast could’ve been the moment I might try it out again.
Loved Cavill for the role, but a new actor doesn’t need to be a deathknell.

On the third attempt at his library, I think I finally found a Joe Abercrombie book that speaks to me.
Having a lot of fun with the audiobook, especially the banter between the characters.
If James Cameron does adapt the book, I hope they lean heavily on this aspect of it.

I’m not talking about funding the campaign - my amazing readers sorted that within the first day.
No. Today, a few hours before the campaign end, we smashed the final stretch goal.
This thing is going to look amazing.
Today is a happy, exhausted author day.
I audibly gasped when I saw this in the second hand bookshop.
Loved listening to this in audio - cemented Harrow as one of my favourite authors.
Didn’t even know it had been published in hardback, and the copy was in perfect condition.
