So… do I get my $100 of import fees back?
What do you mean the ruling today doesn’t address refunding past payments?

I'm very curious to see if all these Discord shenanigans will lead to a true exodus (to... Fluxer? Stoat? Matrix?) or if everything will return to status quo in a month.
Tron Ares is a frustrating movie. Visually and musically, it's fine. But Legacy has a solid story with a small but great cast of characters. I can't say that I care for anyone in Ares.
I don't have any desire to rewatch Ares ever again, unlike Legacy that I am always happy to watch.
Offline, non-gacha, and a better name. I'm curious to give it a go when it releases.
Not that it was ever high on my list of moonshot jobs to aim for, but SpaceX is definitely off the list now.
Writer's block sure is fun.
I didn't spend a ton of time with it due to it being unlikely to get the game anytime soon, but the character creator in Nioh 3 is pretty good. Aethmal and Seralin both turned out nice without too much effort.
I wish I felt comfortable enough to try a Hetzner IPv6-only server. User support should be there mostly nowadays. But I still worry about the random people it might cut off.
Would probably get rid of a *a lot* of bot traffic to my servers though.
“The secret fear of the morally depraved is that virtue is actually common, and that they’re the ones who are alone. In Minnesota, all of the ideological cornerstones of MAGA have been proved false at once.”

I've had many gripes over the years about the inefficiencies of Element/Matrix. But maybe now sentiment to move away from US-based companies and tech, especially within the EU, might give it the push it needs.
I would love for my currently negative outlook on it to be turned around.
The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.
World of Warcraft interface dialogue window stating: "The Remix event has ended. Your Timerunner characters have been transported to the main timeline. Remix event items have been removed."
Lemix is done. I didn't get to do everything I wanted in it, but had fun regardless.
Can't wait to see the next remix event!
Maybe I need to sit down sometime and really think about what is appealing about that and how to best bring it forward. It's not like a more peaceful and mentally healthy computing life is impossible nowadays... right...?
There are days where I wonder if falling back to a command-line-only computing life wouldn’t be preferable. Forces a more focused workflow, quieter, and if there’s something I really need that doesn’t exist, it forces me to build it.
Although I guess I’d just waste time in IRC instead of Discord…
I certainly owe Dr. Becker an apology. All that time spent debating against him about the hope of technological advancement for our species, and he ended up being right with how it is now being used to tear us down.
I studied political science and criminology for nearly a decade. Even with the brilliant professors I had to helped me throughout my education, it's hard to use those teachings to make sense of the idiocy that the world has fallen into.
Even if my sleep has yet to quantitatively improve, I already feel a lot better now that I no longer work a graveyard schedule. Being awake during the day and able to go out and do things is wonderful.
I’ll miss some aspects of graveyard, but the mental and physical costs of it were just too much.
I do question the modern rationale behind it, given that HJKL was chosen originally simply due to the keyboard that vi was created on lacked independent arrow keys and used HJKL in its place.
The other arguments for it seem to have come well after that fact.
What kind of damn fool goes for an early morning walk in the rain and 37F temperatures while wearing Vans?
Oh right. Me.
I sometimes wonder about a world where "AI" was properly focused on the niche tasks it excels at. Not as a first step towards AGI that is worth burning the world down over, or a destroyer of the arts, but an efficient tool for specific fields.
Altman and the rest really did the world a disservice.
This is incredible. Already gave it a test run and it works just as easy as it sounds in the blog. Once more browsers support this, I'm going to find a few uses for it on my own websites.

Male Paladin with strawberry blond hair wearing red and gold armor, with fiery highlights across the armor.
Blizzard, you're always finding ways to drag me back into the game. The paladin plays great! I'm having a lot more fun with it than I did the Crusader in Diablo 3.
First graduate quarter done. Feels good to get a couple of weeks for personal projects before having to jump back into the grind for next quarter.
NPC dialogue box with the following text from Moratari: <Moratari abruptly shifts her attention to her clipboard and clears her throat.> Speaking of data points, why don't you share with me what you've learned about the affect of artifacts on this timeline? (Quest) I found this Blank Doomsayer's Pamphlet among the remains of the Lost Legion Infernal.
NPC dialogue box with the following text from Moratari: How peculiar. This must come from a nearby timeline. The latent temporal energy in this parchment is bursting with potential. I recommend you burn in at our bonfire. If you'd like, you can write a message before you burn it. With that much energy, I expect it would echo to your fellow Timerunners. But choose your words wisely--unless the physical laws of time itself start breaking, I expect that you'd find something this rare only once per week. (Quest) One a week. Got it. (Quest) I will think hard about what I want to say to my fellow Timerunners. (Quest) Whatever.
NPC dialog window for the Infinite Bonfire: ‹Before you cast the Blank Doomsayer's Pamphlet into the bonfire, you consider writing a message on it. What will you write?> <Reflect on the power you've gained.> <Reflect on the demons you've slain.> <Reflect on your quests.> <Reflect on the Heroic World Tier.> <Reflect on your infinite research accomplishments.> ‹For the Horde!> <Write a heartfelt goodbye to your fellow adventurers.> <Write something silly.> <Write nothing.>
Chat window text: The infinite bonfire echoes as Seralin wishes you everyone a hearty farewell. Though we depart from this timeline, we will surely fight for Azeroth in the next one, wherever and whenever that brings us together again.
Of course I had to choose the sentimental option for the first go around of this. Maybe I'll do a braggy one in the future, but the heartfelt goodbye felt the most appropriate given all of the emotional and sentimental (or not, in the case of Lidamorrutu) dialogue of everyone else at the camp.
Quest window from World of Warcraft given by Moratari with the following text: UNTIL OUR NEXT HELLO There. That was not so bad after all. This is not goodbye. It is just a pause until our next hello. I look forward to it, Seralin.
A few loose ends to tie up over winter break, but Legion Remix has been so much fun. Looking forward to the next one!

At some point we’re going to talk about whether so much of the internet should be centralized behind Cloudflare, right?
