An entire cherry pie with a lattice top cools on a chopping board.
a slice of cherry pie with some skooshy cream on a plate.

a selfie in dappled sunlight. i'm wearing a black t-shirt with a silver OPA logo and two doodled circles, one blue representing earth, and one red representing mars.
oye! kewe to pensa?
I will report back when I receive a reply to my FoI request
It's going to be even worse the next time they appoint Peter Mandelson
Hi I can’t stop laughing
Tweet by Martina Navratilova. "Predator. That is how he should register. A sexual predator…" quote-tweeting a tweet by "Biology Rules OK" about Dr. Beth Upton, a trans woman
This tweet is highly defamatory and Martina Navratilova should be fired from BBC Sport for it.
It demonstrates an horrendous level of hatred for a trans woman (who was cleared of all wrongdoing in a recent tribunal) because she is a trans woman.
This is Actually Infantilizing. Legal adults cannot buy legal adult products because they tried to buy a blue raspberry vape when they were 16? Is that right?
He had 5 opportunities to do so
You’re creating a permanent category of legally infantilised adults.
What next, no alcohol sales to pre-menopausal women?
While I understand the health motivation for this, and I really do, I remain deeply uncomfortable about the idea that we can create a subsidiary group of adults who don’t have all the same freedoms as other adults (yes, even to chose to do stupid dangerous shit). 1/2
Either smoking is so dangerous that tobacco products should be banned outright, or they’re a matter of adult personal choice.
The slippery slope here is horrifying.
They really are capturing the “buy these ten issues of titles you don’t follow if you want the whole story” vibe that helped wean me off superhero comics when I was a kid.
the finished t-shirt, with the opa professional logo in silver, and a doodly representation of the planet earth in blue and the planet mars in red. the pens i used lie at the foot of the shirt.
all that's left is letting this second coat dry and then ironing. i shall be modelling the garment upon its completion, obviously. #TheExpanse #ScreamingFirehawks
This attitude alone is so, so damning.
I don't need to wonder
"I will not put up with this shit. I have been beaten. I have had my nose broken. I have been thrown in jail. I have lost my job. I have lost my apartment for gay liberation and you all treat me this way? What the fuck's wrong with you all? Think about that!" - Sylvia Rivera
You know what I, as a privileged cis person, really like about seeing pronouns in someone's bio? It means I can follow them/ engage with them and not worry that they'll suddenly turn out to be a wrong 'un. Given the massive overlap between terfs and racists, it's a helpful green flag.
hey #FBPE dorks,
pay attention.
if you want to rejoin the eu you're gonna need to start telling labour to restore our healthcare and civil rights.
Thing is, smartphones can be life-changing powerful assistive tech when they are allowed to be.
Just off the top of my head: phones can monitor blood glucose (with alarms), control hearing aids, magnify things, read things aloud, translate things, give timed medication reminders…
But phones baad 🙄
As usual not even one single mention of pupils who use their phone as an essential medical or assistive technology.
Nope, just “phones bad”
in the bottom left corner is a populated green terrestrial planet, with city lights glowing and visible from space. in the night sky, you can see the galaxy streaking across the sky of stars.

Juuuust a coincidence
feeling misc bad. like i've done something terrible but can't remember what, so i want to atone but don't know what for. i don't like it.
the professional OPA logo sits atop a small blue doodled circle representing earth, and a red doodled circle representing mars.
right! adding detail #TheExpanse #ScreamingFirehawks
i'm not sure what scotland did to deserve this but i feel like it's somehow keir starmer's fault
yes. YES.
Thinking about that time in Japan, when Nintendo was undergoing hard times, its CEO took a pay cut himself rather than layoff the companies' talented workers. That's some exceptionalism I can get behind.
Fuck yeah, dude. Gonna get all the girls looking like this
The first panel shows a crow with the title "How to live a good life". The second panel shows a crow cawing at itself in the mirror with the subheading "Make friends". The next panel says "Explore" and shows a crow looking into a commercial waste bin. The next says "Try new things" with a crow eating something vile. The next one says "Be curious" and shows the crow grabbing a hissing cat's tail". The final frame says "Get a hobby" and shows the crow looking closely at a book of matches.
How To Live A Good Life #oldknees
i love how starmer sucks so hard he's actually below the line.
most schools already do this so this is just @bphillipsonmp.bsky.social doing pointless shit to distract from the latest government scandal
it also makes them look weak on big tech bcos they're doing this nothingburger shit instead of regulation
it'll get a cheer from boomers on facebook ig
