It's because he knew all that pain was an illusion
(I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself)
When I watched the trailer I thought of a friend of mine's review of the recent Mortal Kombat movie:
"That was the worst movie I ever thoroughly enjoyed"
Evergreen statement at this point but I wish companies like this understood how much good will they would generate by giving trusted sources early access for testing.
Not doing so makes everyone wary, even if that may end up being unfounded.
AV out? Cool! What about RGB? Would be nice to know...
I am just kind of laughing at the idea that a band getting popular in a short amount of time is so shocking to some people that they immediately scream "psyop!"
But I grew up with TRL being probably the single most important force in deciding pop culture relevance, so...

Except you DRG who's had the LFG flag up in Jueno for the last two hours, you should just log off.
I was going to make a similar reply but you said it perfectly. If I read that on a resume my eyes would roll so hard that I'd have to take the rest of the day off.
This is not the biggest deal but the actual end, like the final scene, I thought it was going to do something to maybe tie some things together, but it literally cuts to credits and I was like "oh... alright"
I liked it fine for what it was but that was kind of a microcosm of the whole movie for me
My dad would sometimes buy me NES games off the clearance wall at Toys R Us, one time I convinced him to get me the Terminator 2 game instead. The bargain was there would be no games for a long time since it was full price.
I knew within 10 minutes I had made a huge mistake.
Came in the replies to make sure someone posted this ๐คฃ
So this movie felt very validating as a kid, to see your favorite thing up on the big screen. In addition to it being a literal commercial for SMB3 which was honestly awesome to me at the time.
This is a hard thing for me to explain, but being a huge video game fan back at this time was weird because outside of things like Nintendo Power it felt like video games were in a parallel universe.
Adults didn't engage with them and so you didn't see them much in day-to-day life or pop culture.
OMG this randomly came up in my feed the other day and then disappeared before I could watch it, forgot all about it.
And they want to see two of the same guy meld into a ball of jelly because they touched each other (after being warned for the entire movie that doing so would be bad)
I'm sorry, their microwave beeps every second?
How did you like that one? I'm usually very wary of the "all you gotta do is pull a bunch of these in your packs!" decks but I heard from people at mine that it was doing pretty well. Small set probably helps.
Magic designer: What color should Tom Bombadil be?
