My guess is the color separations, I see the names of the colors at the bottom and the “crosshairs” indicating how the acetate overlays were supposed to line up.

The color guide would have hand colors and notations like on this page from LSH Annual 7 (Legends of the Dead Earth).

Regarding the 5YL timeline: I took meticulous notes during my recent reread, and issue #1 starts on 10/22/2994. The reformed Legion establishes headquarters on the asteroid world of Talus on 12/28/2994. Only 2 months passed!

I ended up going with a 5TB HDD from Western Digital for $100 less than a 4TB SSD.

Ironically, my Facebook memories tell me it was 9 years ago today that my previous backup drive crashed. So the replacement lasted exactly 9 years (give or take a few days).

My current (old) one is 4TB, I have it divided into two 2TB drives, (F:) a weekly incremental backup and (G:) overflow holding things that I don’t use often and take up a lot of room, like movies. My laptop is only 1 TB.

That was going to be my follow-up question but there wasn’t enough room in the original post. Any recommendations for a 4+ TB drive, or pointers to review sites?

@dwightsilverman.com Used FreeFileSync to copy files from laptop to 2016-era Seagate 4TB drive which disconnected during the process. Now all the folders I was backing up give me an I/O error on the backup drive, though the files inside those folders are recoverable. Suggestions? Or buy a new drive?

Apparently you missed the Pocket Universe, which first appeared in Legion of Super-Heroes (vol 3) #23, although we didn't know it was the Pocket Universe at the time.
