Who are streets for? 81% of street space in Toronto is inequitably dedicated to motor vehicles. How can this be fairly re-designed?

100% Eric. My writing on all users of this infrastructure is better articulated here schoolofcities.github.io/who-are-stre... and I am much more aware of the equitable lens to say out loud how different devices and individuals that utilize this infrastructure can't be categorized only for bikes.

Our communities are grieving a month after Peter Clark’s death. Our political leaders lament this tragedy — no action to prevent another:

❌ Feds won’t regulate oversized vehicles
❌ Ontario killed speed cameras
❌ Council defunds road safety

An elected official that showing off their walking shoes/wheelchair, Presto Card &/ot helmet for their SUV (Sustainable Urban Vehicle) could be a winning formula. For #TOpoli candidates it should be a requirement.

Everyone outside of car should be able to move equitably & safely across the city.
