This image provided by the Pantone Color Institute shows Love Symbol #2, that the institute and the estate of the late music superstar Prince announced as a new shade of purple.

"Created in honor of international icon, Prince, “Love Symbol #2” is a distinctive blue based purple hue inspired by Prince’s custom-made Yamaha purple piano which was originally scheduled to go on tour w/ the performer before his untimely passing at the age of 57." www.pantone.com/articles/new...

Hope next year during #EarthWeek that we extend Free parking to the Toronto Police Force to use Green P Parking instead of placing vulnerable road users in danger by parking their vehicles in infrastructure is crealy not built for them.

"I hope this series catches the eye of people at city hall, just as our Toronto the Better "One Great Idea" project did," @nicolemacintyre.bsky.social

Flooding bike lanes to create skating trails was a great idea? Really?!

Hoping @thestar.com 'If I Were Mayor' is better!

Who are streets for? 81% of street space in Toronto is inequitably dedicated to motor vehicles. How can this be fairly re-designed?

100% Eric. My writing on all users of this infrastructure is better articulated here schoolofcities.github.io/who-are-stre... and I am much more aware of the equitable lens to say out loud how different devices and individuals that utilize this infrastructure can't be categorized only for bikes.

A City Grieving Peter Clark – An Avoidable Tragedy and The lessons We Refuse to Learn Our leaders will lament this tragedy but will stop short of any meaningful action to prevent it.

Our communities are grieving a month after Peter Clark’s death. Our political leaders lament this tragedy — no action to prevent another:

❌ Feds won’t regulate oversized vehicles
❌ Ontario killed speed cameras
❌ Council defunds road safety

An elected official that showing off their walking shoes/wheelchair, Presto Card &/ot helmet for their SUV (Sustainable Urban Vehicle) could be a winning formula. For #TOpoli candidates it should be a requirement.

Everyone outside of car should be able to move equitably & safely across the city.

❤️🚲📢Yesterday.

We’ve got a series of career politicians that don’t have the #PoliticalWill to buck up and do better. Sadly living in one of those wards right now. But I to have hope for Toronto.
