Many times someone has said my actors were bad so I would chime in to say "My actors are great, they did EXACTLY what I told them to do. What you actually think is bad is my directing choices."

Fuck it if I can answer and they're saying completely wrong information as if it's true I'm gonna step in
I think we should stop letting idiots feel empowered and correct just because nobody calls them out
You did the Monster Mash?
If I ever got that gig audiences would hate my movie but I'd be happy because I'd be on the press tour saying "Yeah I took all of my inspiration for this Evil Dead film from Army of Darkness and Ernest Scared Stupid!"
Every new Evil Dead movie gets announcements saying stuff like "it's the goriest" or "it's the scariest."
Can I get another one where the selling point is "It's the silliest!"
One of those slop AI pages that makes up fake movie sequels w/ fake plots did it to Wally Meets Popeye.
I'm fascinated because EVERYTHING else on their page is what you'd expect, fake sequels to big Hollywood stuff. No other microbudget indie flicks.
How did my movie get into this bot's algorithm?
Let's goooooo
I will no longer make new copies of The Slasher Hunter or The Survivors on DVD. They are preserved on the EMD 10 year bluray and I need to start saving some space with new films coming.
I think there are maybe 10 copies of Slasher Hunter left and 20 of Survivors. When they're gone, they're gone.
Time to finally revisit Ineffective Politicians the Movie (Shin Godzilla)

A review like this is not only a wonderful feeling, but it's also the perk of already having a library of films for someone new to dive into. Now one stream or sale turns into many, or in this case an immediate sub to SteveBuster!
If you're not dumping on other movies take all the time you want but if you want to say you're the authority then I think you're wrong.
Some folks will probably be mad at me for this but I just feel if you're the kind of person who wants to constantly yell about how you know better when it comes to making movies then your movie should come out in less than five years.
When you can't finish one flick it seems you DON'T know better
It's always funny to me when someone puts "WHO MADE THIS" in a movie review as if the movie does not have credits that literally answer this question.
The SteveBuster update for April is the pilot episode of Cheap Thrills! Steve Wetherell's series about indie filmmaking is being shopped around but I got permission to share this on SteveBuster!
Featuring Jessa Flux, Tim Gross, Cody Ruch, Justin Seaman, Stephen Tramontana, and Aleen Isley!

THEY CREDITED THE TALKING PUPPET OWL AS "BARNEY HOOTER" WHAT A MASTERPIECE
I am watching a movie called My Santa, My Dad and the lead actor played his own dad but with a mustache so this is the greatest thing I ever went in on blind
How Popeye got his powers in Wally Meets Popeye may forever be a mystery
I actually have only read the Boys comic and seen some of the show, but I think it's an interesting take where all of the "heroes" are evil.
Just feel like it's nuts how people online act like the Cavill Superman is literally Homelander (folks can dislike the movies but come on lol)
But much like Routh it isn't Spacey's fault as much as it was Singer saying these guys had to emulate other performances rather than make the characters their own.
It's a SUPER fun performance that is clearly Hackman adjacent, but doesn't feel like Lex enough to me.
I love Eisenberg as Lex personally! So evil, meticulous, and making Superman actually kneel powerless (and that dialog) is one of my fav "villain has one up on the hero" scenes.
Love Routh but dislike the movie. Actually am really into it up until he saves Parker Posey but then feel like the film just falls off a cliff by comparison.
Was beyond thrilled he got to be Superman again in Crisis and would love to see him more as that.
