I am being whisked away for 24 hours and will be mostly unreachable until tomorrow evening 💕 It’s an understatement to say I’m excited for this cozy retreat in a beautiful cabin.

I watched two movies this week (if you didn’t already know, I am a huge movie girl), Portrait of a Lady on Fire and Perfect Days. Both were beautiful and, funnily enough, both ended with nearly identical last scenes of the characters’ faces as they react to a piece of music and all it evokes.

And both plates were mine 😋🩷

I had the most amazing 6 hour Valentine’s Day date yesterday. Thankful for a relaxed and indulgent evening and the reminder of the importance of love and tenderness.

I’m not but I love fiction, multi-generational or transcontinental dramas, and moving and/or bittersweet stories of life and love..

It’s more abstract and I think the less you know about it the better! And if you haven’t read Ocean Vuong’s first novel yet I highly recommend as well.
