Thanks for this - my Gran and her Cameron family lived in Lilybank Road from around 1900 into the 1920s, nos. 44 and 38; and my Gran went to Glebelands School (photo).

A small acrylic painting for a Patreon supporter. Quite a lovely hole in the ground really. I think the movie version of Bag End certainly had a lot of people going 'yeah I'd be happy to live there'.

I've only done small illo jobs so far - I'll be doing my first comics page from scratch on it next week, that'll be the test!
Can't answer your question (sorry) but I am going through the process of ditching Photoshop (after almost 30 years) for Affinity. Haven't fully explored it yet, but did my last two illo jobs fully in Affinity and they went ok. Still feels slightly alien and fiddly at the moment.
