Charles "Speedy" Atkins is buried in Maplelawn Cemetery in Paducah, Kentucky. However, he was not buried until 1994 even though he died in 1928! He was embalmed and put on display at the funeral home. He stayed on roller skates and pulled out for show until finally he was allowed to rest in peace.
