In the UK dogs are in pubs, on public transport and in many shops.
People are okay with it.
In Australia if you mention dogs on public transport people cite safety, allergies etc but there are so many dogs in Bunnings that this logic doesn’t add up.
I wish Australia was more dog friendly.

I commented on a few too many “heading over the rainbow bridge” posts and now my feed is full of beautiful, elderly dogs in their final days and it’s joyful and heartbreaking in equal doses.
The bizarre thing about living overseas for 14 years is that I came back and so much of the media and politics is stagnant. All these awful examples of the worst a white bloke (and a few women) can be and the only way it changes is when they’re dead.
This should’ve been done in Australia years ago.

As an Australian I don’t understand why every outdoor carpark doesn’t have solar panels to provide shade for cars and generate electricity, for that matter, a canopy of solar panels over footpaths would be nice too.
