But then LWJ tells the bus driver to leave without him, he can have his things packed and delivered later, and holds WWX tight as he cries with relief then kisses LWJ.

And yeah, a few months, maybe a year later LWJ tells WWX he's arranged for a trust fund for A-Yuan.
Then WWX tells him that A-Yuan

In the morning they're back where they were ten years ago. LWJ asks twice if WWX is willing to come see the world with him & take A-Yuan too. WWX can't upend his son's life like that & he thinks he'll have to break his heart again.

And WWX is just so so so stupidly still in love with LWJ because how good is he? To just be 'this child is yours and important to you so he is important to me as well' and he blurts out "I love you so damned much Lan Zhan."

Of course LWJ returns the sentiment and they roll right back into papapa.

Halfway through the night they're curled up together, talking about their lives now & what's happened in the time since they'd last seen each other. WWX shows off pictures of himself & A-Yuan, LWJ silently chugs vinegar but doesn't show it, instead asking genuinely interested questions about A-Yuan.

LWJ plays to WWX the entire show, there's so few people it doesn't really matter that he's locked on one individual, and at the end of it WWX is brought backstage and then to LWJ's hotel room.

They collide, heat and hunger and passion, and it's like no time has passed at all.

He's had therapy & is finally stable and secure enough to think //maybe.//

So he goes to the tiny venue, snorts at the marquee getting LWJ's name wrong, then plants his still very fine ass in the front row.

The SECOND LWJ comes out onstage he locks eyes with WWX and everything lights up.
