Interesting. It didn't help me, either. It was actually Escitalopram that acted more like that for me. I do better with that and low-dose Nebivolol (beta blocker), plus my ADHD meds (methylphenidate).

If you could choose any other of those pictured to be the protagonist, who would you choose and why?

WARNING! DON'T CHARGE E-CARS / E-AUTOS FOR FREE2MOVE!

They will recommend partner charging stations only to then trap you with a removal fee if nobody happens to want the car soon enough after you parked it. Nothing in the terms - they just tell you to leave it there!

Then bullshit support!

Fish concentration camps are as bad as chicken concentration camps.

Horrendous conditions where animals are forced to live in their own shit.

No wonder extremely infectious diseases spread so easily when humans practice concentration camp farming.

The way he always talks down his own misdeeds... He's committed treason ffs! Not just aided a convicted sex trafficker... Literally committed treason. People used to hang for what he's done and he's calling it bad luck of his own making?!

Yeah. The data size means it is crystal clear what the content generally is.

Yet it was the physio who has a young kid who tried to bully me into taking off my mask, telling me she thinks it's in my head...

No. You're literally the riskiest person I know.

Epstein survivor Anouska De Georgiou: The fact that the very people who are meant to lead this country have completely retraumatized us… it’s—I mean—it’s like being raped by the Department of Justice.

1. It was not an accident.
2. It was not a staffer.
3. While the president may have dementia his racism is not due to dementia.
4. He isn’t sorry. He means every racist thought he shares.
5. His base agrees with him.
6. He will do it again.
7. No one in power will hold him accountable.

Ray O'Rourke (businessman) - Wikipedia

PS, this guy, to save the google. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ray_O%2...

Very wealthy. Very down to earth. Very not in the Epstein files.

The weird thing about being ND is that our first impressions are much more reliable than our second or third - cos that's when conformity flows into the mix.

..was at the time, I just put the pieces together after I asked about the nice car and what he does. He said he was in construction, I asked what he built, and he said motorways, airports, etc. :D

Some would have turned down the lift, but we'd already had a nice chat. Passed the ND vibe check.

Yup. It's part of how I ended up with adventure gamer friends.

I am sometimes amazed at the risks I took as a young woman... but I trusted my spidey sense a lot. It is how, for example, I accepted a lift from Ray O'Rourke to the nearest station when our plane was mega-late... Had no idea who he...

Women have the same rates of autism as men – but get diagnosed less A new study on autism prevalence in both genders suggests that ‘clinical biases contribute to under-recognition of women and girls’

⚠️ New research with HUGE data set (2.7 million): Autism rates are “more or less equal for men and women.”

Autistic females present differently than autistic males in childhood. As a result, females are often diagnosed later, so recorded rates are higher for male children but even out by adulthood.

Oh, I've seen the equivalent before - a translation association. Tens of thousands unaccounted for. Other stuff I can't put in public. But yeah. I know the type.

But if only one person is responsible for the offline backups, and the online backups are fully automated, sharing any details whatsoever is an unnecessary security risk. I mean, what, want me to share the passwords for the encrypted hard drive, too?

Sigh. Security best practices are *situational*.

The final irritation is that the template is designed very much for businesses, without examples for freelancers or home users. In some cases, it also adds unnecessary security risks:
It wants me to make the backup locations and script locations public, as attached assets in the procedural doc.

The other part that makes this sort of ironic is that many documents are already valid without a signature. Particularly documents stored in a non-manipulable/immutable format, such as a Restic archive with offline backups. Which you know, I have to have to go paperless in the first place.

There is a certain irony to the fact that German law requires careful adaptation of a 14-page template in order to go paperless in your organisation - or indeed even your home/office as a freelancer or private individual.

The template has room for signatures. For printing it.

Probably not shrimp. There's an observant Jewish person involved and I'm vegan myself... Sadly, vegan things rarely smell as bad when they go off. Dammit.

Soya can be a bit bad when it's off, but it takes forever. Slow burn revenge I guess.

I care about the overall mission and it does tie into my career. But the constant disrespect is pretty bad for my mental health. For now, I've said I'm skipping the next two meetings... But if they don't realise how fucking awful this was, I'm quitting. It's the absolute final chance I think.

Boundaries and limits:
If you've volunteered extensively for an organisation, already dealt with massive disrespect, then aren't told in advance that undoing a substantial portion of unpaid work you were instructed to do is going to be a discussion topic of the upcoming meeting...
... Do you quit?

Nerd joy: Now I have a private Rustdesk server. Like TeamViewer, but a lot faster and more private.

But with running my own VPS, I can obviously keep that and anything else turned off when not using it.
