We finished our read aloud of Holes. It is always a joy to go on this journey with a group of students. There is absolutely nothing in the world quite like the classroom read aloud.

In today’s word it may be hard to find time for the read aloud, but we CANNOT afford not to. Read aloud is life!

I showed my 5th graders Alysa Liu’s free skate in class yesterday. They were captivated.
