For students, wear red or green in solidarity with workers across the country, or arrange a lunchtime sit-in, or ask your teachers to hold classes out on the grass, or anything else peaceful and statement-making! Get creative! And then join the protest line at 4pm.

If you can take the day off work, call in sick, or schedule doctor's appointments, all are great ways to show support. Even better would be for the boss to shut down the store or office for the day!

Remember, don't park in the mall parking lots as they have said they will tow anyone who parks there who isn't there to shop.

May Day is happening in Chico! Empty the parking lots, carpool, take the bus, ride your bike, just don't spend money or park in front of stores for May 1st!! There will be a protest all along Forest Ave. and 20th St. starting at 4pm.
