When I interviewed David Yazbek last year, we talked about how it was time for a FULL MONTY revival and now we're getting one! www.theatermania.com/news/intervi...

I loved PROJECT HAIL MARY (yeah practical effects), but has Ryan Gosling never seen someone wear glasses in his life? Dangling his glasses under his chin is unhinged behavior.
People have short memories.
At least MARTY SUPREME didn't win anything. #Oscars
That MOULIN ROUGE reunion was so good, it almost makes up for SINNERS not winning. But not quite. #Oscars
Never forget that Jessie Buckley got her start in the great reality show I'D DO ANYTHING (she lost). #Oscars
If HAMNET was only going to win one award, I'm glad it was for Jessie Buckley. #Oscars
YES YES YES OSCAR WINNER MICHAEL B. JORDAN! I WON'T COMPLAIN ANYMORE TONIGHT. #Oscars
The more awards a movie I didn't love wins, the more I start to hate it. This is about ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER. #Oscars
I'm still bitter that TURNING RED didn't get a song nomination.
The only sure thing tonight was "Golden" winning best song. #Oscars
I love that these song performances are bringing the spectacle. Though it's unfair that not all the nominated songs get a performance. #Oscars
Ok SINNERS won something. The Marvel guys seem happy. #Oscars
Starting to get concerned that ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER has been winning quite a few awards, but the night is still young. #Oscars
The first award goes to the only nominated acting performance I haven't seen this year. #Oscars
I loved Song Sung Blue, though it wasn't nominated for best picture.
Oh no. Lol. I hated Marty Supreme.
Frankenstein was ok. I don't have strong feelings about it. I loved the book Hamnet and the film, but yes, it is hard to watch. I don't care much about vampires, but I think Sinners is the most entertaining of the nominated films.
Which ones have you seen?
I watched all of this year's best picture Oscar nominees. My favorites were HAMNET and SINNERS. I liked THE SECRET AGENT and SENTIMENTAL VALUE. Everything else I either didn't like or hated or I was bored.
I just saw Norbert Leo Butz in concert and before singing "Finishing the Hat," he said that he and Kristin Chenoweth were offered a revival of SUNDAY IN THE PARK, but the timing didn't work and they still want to do it together if they ever get the chance, so someone needs to make that happen.
Have you been before? It's worth a trip if you haven't.
Program for HERE LIES LOVE at the Mark Taper Forum.
I've seen HERE LIES LOVE off-Broadway and on Broadway, and now I'm seeing a new production in LA.
And, of course, GHOST THE MUSICAL.
What I've learned from these Olympics so far is that figure skaters love Ricky Martin and Romeo and Juliet.
I was thinking this the whole time!
Now say who the bad ones are.
Bryce Pinkham's bio in the CHESS Playbill.
I haven't had to play bio police in a while, but Bryce Pinkham, is GHOST just "and more" to you?
Playbill for CHESS.
Ending a cold and snowy trip to New York with a game of Chess.
I don't believe in entrance applause because all you've done so far is show up to work, but I will allow it in the case of June Squibb because if you are 96, you absolutely should be applauded for showing up to work.
