I remember one time watching a drone overhead while I was in my spa. I waved and it ran away, but it came back a few minutes later, followed by a magpie that attacked it viciously. Both last seen heading off to the south-west.
Yea for the magpie!!!!

I'm voting for the coffee!
Tonight's speaker was talking about his experiences riding in Japan. Very informative.
Next month we've got an exercise physiologist coming to talk about strength training for cyclists.
I've just come home from a Pedal Power Social Night, and reading this thread reminds me of the night when you spoke by Zoom with us and your little one came in at the end and waved to us all.
Thank you for all that you have done, not just for D but for cyclists everywhere!
My dark temptation is similar:
Sit quietly at the back of a random wedding.
Stand up at the point of "If anyone knows any reason why …"
Walk up to the couple and look closely at them.
Then look at the priest and say, "Sorry, wrong wedding" and walk out.
The essence of a snooze is it's temporary nature.
That's part of the deal, isn't it.
(Yes, I am paying attention.)
Perfection!
Well done!
That looks fabulous.
So far this morning I've liked three posts. Looks like you had a really good Saturday! Yay!!!!
Cooked in the pizza oven on top of the chiminea.
Followed up with toasted marshmallows.
Lovely and warm as the autumn temperature drops.

I made pizzas tonight, and not a single tomato in sight.
Parsley, dill and tarragon seafood sauce, smoked salmon, prawns, avocado, mushrooms and brie.
Lots of leftovers to pop in the freezer as well.
Yay for you!
Cider!
How good!
Hopefully the Englishman came good with a cuddle as well!
That is definitely a different scale to my maps. Looking at the contour lines, it would be quite a walk back up the hill to Banwell from the standing stone!
"Delight" is an excellent word!
The other treasures I hang on to include some one pound notes and a lone five pound note from Jersey. Text in English on the obverse and French on the reverse, and English shops very reluctant to accept them!
I used the 1:250,000 scale ones when I was riding in the UK last year. They worked really well for me and are now part of my treasure trove from that ride.
If you're walking I guess a smaller scale would be ideal.
Living the dream, I see!
Go you!!!!!
There has been some gentle rain on my camellia today. I hope you enjoy these.
I'm thinking about doing another one, this time just in red on one line, black on another and white on the third. Eventually …
This is my version of his Tumbling Blocks design. I made it maybe 30 years ago. People still comment on it whenever I wear it.
I was in the UK at the time and my only interest is in remembering the many ways in which BBC newsreaders struggled with the pronunciation of Porepunkah.
Fellow hotel guests were amazed both that I knew the pronunciation and that I'd actually been there.
And is that sunshine that I spy in the trees behind you? Very nice!
Enjoy, and sleep well under the stars!
Treasures!
If I was writing a dictionary, the entry for DEDICATION would just be a photo of @carlafrancome.bsky.social!
I noticed some time stamps from the last few hours and wondered about them. This clearly explains them. My sympathies, no fun for either of you.
Thank you.
Nice photo.
The moon looked really lovely this evening in Canberra, so I played around a bit with my camera. This seems to have worked out okay as well.
