Local leaders, public health experts gather for 4th annual Gun Violence Prevention Summit A coalition of city and county leaders, as well as public health experts, gathered in Austin Monday afternoon for the fourth annual Gun Violence Prevention Summit.

Three years ago, my office initiated the Gun Violence Prevention Summit in Travis County to coordinate strategy & keep our communities safe, and since my time in office, crime rates are down.

We have critical work ahead, and I'm grateful to all who joined us at this year's summit.
