I'm strolling thru my neighborhood & walking past two relatively new restaurants that are completely empty. Meanwhile other places are mostly full or a few outright packed for the lunch crowd.

I'll tell you why they are empty. One only has a price fix for $40. The other, the average entre is $30.

I think I'm the same as you. I prefer controller for most souls likes, because they are slow and methodical. I can just lean back and play. Same with non menu driven RPGs. CRPGs I must have MK. Souls likes like Remnant, I need MK cause its core mechanic is shooting.

In my old studio, they'd always play MP COD or Battlefield when they do their reviews or unboxing. They laugh when I join in on the consoles. Then I told them to turn on cross play, got on my PC and smoked them.

If you started PC gaming with M+K, it's really not an issue for any game or genre, unless the devs were originally console only, and just don't understand how to implement sound MK control schemes.

I feel a lot of PC gamers started on consoles, and are just more comfortable with a controller.

They are GaSS because they follow the same monetary model, just different genre.

It's the multiplayer that keeps shooters relevant and the major selling factor. I know ppl who don't like PVP only play the campaigns, but the greater majority do it to pew pew other ppl.

Popular GaSS games are basically all PvP except for a tiny few, which are MMOs. Yes, MMOs are GaSS games.

I don't make friends very easily. Just a personal "condition" of having a ND brain I'm told. The easiest way to have me as a friend, is just being a great parent and partner in your family. I respect parents the most.

I have also helped friends I don't know very well, for their children. I don't even consider it help. I consider it being kind to my friends and their children. I ask for nothing back, I don't hold the value of "I helped you, now you need to help me.". Love doesn't need reciprocating.

I love kids. Always have. There can be a myriad of reasons why someone doesn't want to have their own, and it doesn't mean they aren't paternal. We have all seen people with kids who aren't paternal.

Love can manifest in many ways. I love and will care for family and friends from newborns to adults
