New update to... Fiendish Fellowship?

Finally finishing a storyline that was left hanging for nearly a decade:

I've been on the Discord for a tiny bit, already weighed in on the most recent comic we're discussing (in short: it's great and deserves a read). My comic, meanwhile, is here: almightyprotectors.thecomicseries.com

I read that the same as the "God bless Lily St. Cyr" line from Rocky Horror.

Of note, I realize a previous post may have led one to believe that I was saying that the issue now live has a guest writer. Said guest writer is for the one after the one currently live.

Almighty Protectors Cover: issue 54 - Liberation Raid

Almighty Protectors has updated again! New issue out now, as the team raids a cult compound to try to free a captured Flame Thrower: almightyprotectors.thecomicseries.com/comics/1102/

The next issue, though, will have a guest writer. I do want to commission more people to give their take on my characters, because it's helpful. Even better if said writer has an identity that aligns with one of my characters.

Ever since getting my job at WalMart, I've found it so much harder to keep to a regular schedule for my comic. The thing is, I could easily give myself the time, so I don't know what my problem is. All this saying: the next Almighty Protectors issue will be up in January, not this month.

"May I please draw your OC?"
Reshare this post if you encourage anyone who wants to draw your OC to do so. There is no need to ask for permission in advance.
Go for it. Draw my OC. If you want, I'll even give you reference posts. Go to town on it.
You are welcome to draw my OC and surprise me with the result. Seriously. In fact, I encourage it. I will proudly display whatever it is you submit to me regarding my OC. There is a chance that I will sequel it about it for several days.
Even if you feel you aren't good at whatever artistic adventure it is you do, please feel free to submit it to me. I want to see what you have done.

If you offer your character, please let me know how to credit you, as well.

To be noted: this is explicitly one where people are chanting things like "No Kings", "Abolish ICE", and "Free Palestine". Despite this being something I think is less relevant to mention on this platform, I still wanted to say, if someone is uncomfortable with their character being in such a crowd.

Almighty Protectors - Overview

For my upcoming issue of my comic, Almighty Protectors (almightyprotectors.thecomicseries.com), I have a big scene of a protest, and wanted to see if instead of just random faces, I could get consent to have others' characters as faces in the crowd.

I'm reminded of when I did a swimsuit themed pinup issue for my comic two years ago. Maybe there needs to be an indie comics swimsuit issue, featuring multiple creators' characters. Could be fun to have an indie comics swimsuit issue, in general.

Almighty Protectors Cover: issue 50 - Inside, Outside

So, hey, Almighty Protectors has updated! Not a long issue, but it sure packs in the cameos regardless: almightyprotectors.thecomicseries.com/comics/1033

Definitely traditional. I could never get into platform fighters, and they just aren't my sort of thing. Neither are arena fighters.

You know what I keep wanting to create? A fighting game featuring a bunch of very indie superheroes. Whether it be from webcomics or from presses more indie than Image or Dark Horse, it's all fair game in my dream scenario. If only I had the coding skills or money to pay those who do...

Ultimately, I'd most want a crossover with The Pride, but I also understand if you may not be willing to do such an event at the moment (or ever). But hey, I can dream, and imagine scenarios and how the characters might interact with each other, regardless.

I've been wanting to message you for a bit to see about hiring you to write an issue of my webcomic, since I would love an outside perspective on my characters, potentially helping invigorate the story a bit. Feel free to DM me (including the normal rate you charge for a script).

Came back on here after a few days away to see quite a few new subscribers. I can hope it's not mainly bots, but I know the possibility. But as always it makes me think I should post more and promote myself, and every time I just... don't do that.

On the Facebook end, I worry that one thing won't be able to be replaced: the groups. I know Reddit and Discord exist, but I don't know if I can find things like local artist's groups there. Also, too many things that I use link to my Facebook account for easy signing in.

A follow-up to what I posted a little bit ago: I know I'm holding onto Twitter and Facebook for ridiculous reasons. Everything I've gotten from them can be gotten elsewhere, and at places that aren't run by horrible people. Sure, I can give tacit excuses, but I'm just being ridiculous.

I really should give up on Twitter. There's no value in it anymore, as most people have left, and I stick there because I tend to hang onto things longer than I should. My subscription feed there is basically only Alex Ross's million retweets of his own art, anyways.

I was scrolling down my "Following" feed, only to at one point start seeing only posts from people I'm not following (and not reposted from those I am). What the heck is going on there?

I can't help but think of Steam Powered Giraffe, who has three members, one of them trans. There's also Bitesize, Julia Serano's old band. I also remember a few others from back in the day: All the Pretty Horses, Oestrogenix, and Lipstick Conspiracy.

My favorite place is easily the home I grew up in, but beyond that I really do enjoy Redding's Sacramento River Trail, as well as my uncle's (now closed) used bookstore, and the city's local gay bar. I could narrow it down or just say PIZZA.

Oh yeah, also the town of Shoshone, CA.

Are you getting rid of the forum? Because I know I do prefer forums over things like Discord. Still would be nice to get a link to the Discord, though.

I see that name and I can't help but think of how it's what often people think my comic is called (I mean, I guess "Almighty" is close to "Mighty", but still...). But overall, I'd check out the RPG, if I felt I could get anyone together to play it. Still have yet to break into TTRPGs.

I'm baffled when people think I'm a cis woman, especially after talking to me. As of yet I've been too lazy to do voice training, and have a natural baritone.

Goodness, that phrase carries a lot of meanings, a lot contradictory.

Also: thank you to all of you who have come in of late. Not sure from where exactly, but it's nice to see you here.

If I act this way at 50 followers, I'm not ready to be actually popular, I would say.
